Ayurveda for Europeans

Ayurveda, roughly translated, means the “science of a healthy life”, something which has a long tradition in all of the world’s cultures. In Europe, natural healing methods have in part been forgotten; in other countries, Ayurveda has been passed down and maintained over generations. We have taken the various Ayurvedic philosophies and combined them into a harmonious offer of treatments and culinary recommendations.

Led by Susil Kannangara and his trained team of professionals, the Hotel Loipersdorf Spa & Conference offers massages, forehead oil flow, herbal packs and steam baths with regional oils and herbs. The hotel cuisine also focuses on the pleasing effect of seasonal products and spices on body and soul, with their inclusion in aperitifs such as herbal cocktails, soups and meat dishes. Before beginning with the treatment, physical ailments and the individual lifestyle and rhythm are addressed so that the massages can be better adapted to meet the needs of the individual guest. Yoga exercises and meditation further assist the holistic recovery process.
